Our Tote Bags are good quality, durable natural canvas.and reusable. This tote is great for grocery shopping, daily errands, craft projects, travel, etc. All seams and stress points are double stitched for durability. Unlike bulkier totes, this bag folds neatly and easily to fit in a small space. The cotton web handles allow you to comfortably carry the bag either over the shoulder or as a tote, without straining. There is a handy pocket inside to keep your phone or anything that you need easy access to.

The unique hand- carved block designs are exclusive to the English Lavender Farm. The original design started with our lavender sprig logo for inspiration and a blank block which local Medford artist Paula Rice hand carved for us into two wooden stamps, one for each color.

For the first two designs, Paula stamped the canvas fabric one block at a time with an oil-based fabric ink, which increases the durability of the print. The fabric was then washed to clear out excess ink and our label was sewn in before being ironed. The latest carved design is very intricate and was stamped onto a piece of purple cotton fabric which was then in turn sewn to the canvas bag.

Suggested Care: Machine wash cold on a delicate or hand-wash setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Tumble dry on a delicate cycle. Iron as needed on a low steam setting. Alternatively, you could hand wash and hang to dry. Do not ring or twist. Be gentle with this hand printed bag and it will last you a very long time.
